Ayurvedic Remedies

If vertigo occurs whether inside/outside home, the patient should not move alone, especially while ascending and descending stairs, and seek help/support of someone else. Following medicines may be tried, either alone or in combination with other two medicines.

  • Duralabha Quath - 50 ml should be taken with ghee twice daily.

  • Suvama Sootashekhar Ras (50-60mg) to be taken twice daily, with juice/decoction of Amla.

  • Mix 10 ml each of Ashwagandharishta and Saraswatarishta, either alone or mixing it with equal quantity (20mI) of water, twice daily.

  • If vertigo occurs due to insomnia, only Ashwagandharishta (10ml) or its powder (½ to TSP) with water, will serve the purpose.

  • Avoid use of tobacco, alcohol, narcotic drugs.
